the pup has it good...

men without women

nights in san pedro have been pretty tame.

for me @ least.

writing;

ellroy;

chickens;

netflix streaming;

more writing;

reading;

no tina;

no vivian;

no women;

just me and a laptop (mac-book-type).

pluggin' away.

you'd think i'd be uber-productive.

all this time to focus. the drama wrung dry.

you'd think...

it's trickling. just a steady flow working across my forehead.

but hey, i found this on youtube!

it was in her bedroom.

i smell it.

perfume. old lady-type.

the pooch looks up, just up in the air.

ears shifting like a satellite acquiring a feed.

head skyward.

eyes bright. pupils deep deep black.

shinning.

a moment.

and then he smiles.

(least that's what i think...)

just for the hell of it, ima try to post a pic of ole Ellroy once a week.

might end up being a cool little way to watch the pooch; a long-haired dachshund, grow up...whaddya think?

so i figured it was about time.

guy and his dog.

he's great - Ellroy, the long-haired dachshund.

and lemme tell ya, he's like a magnet for the ladies.

we can't complain...
